Staff

ALISON PECHEY is the Nominated Supervisor and Educational Leader at the Centre. Alison has a Bachelor of Primary Education and a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care. She has taught in schools, Kindergartens and Early Education Centres in South Africa, England and Australia. Alison has an interest in learning about different cultures and is passionate about the creative arts.
LYNDALL HIND is a full time Teacher and has been a contributing member of staff at the kindergarten for over 25 years. She holds a Diploma of Early Childhood Education and has more than 35 years’ experience in the field.  Lyndall is an advocate for the importance of good quality play based education in the Early Years of Learning.
JANE NIMMO holds a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). She has taught in a variety of early childhood settings. She is the teacher in our 2 long day group on Thursdays and Fridays and brings her creative, spontaneous and flexible nature each and every day.
KAREN O’NEILL has worked in Early Childhood Education for over 20 years. She has a Diploma of Early Childhood Education. Karen is the educator in the 2 day group and is the Mini-Kindy teacher in terms 3 and 4. Karen enjoys working with 3 and 4 year old’s and cherishes the reward of seeing their joy and growth over the time spent together.
  KIRSTY SAUER is the teacher in the 3 short day group. Kirsty has been working in early childhood education for 7 years. She has completed a Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood and has taught in a variety of educational settings in Brisbane and Sydney.  Kirsty is passionate about arts and crafts and loves to see children’s wonder and awe when they engage in new experiences and use different materials.
SUSAN ACCAD is a registered teacher with a Diploma of Teaching (Primary & Special) and a Graduate Diploma of Early Childhood Education. She has worked in primary and special schools, child care centres and community kindergartens. Susan is passionate about working with young children, extending their interests and helping them to become confident individuals.

Educators

TONIA FLETCHER works full time in Unit 2. She has completed her Diploma of Children’s Services in Early Childhood. Tonia has a passion for teaching children about sustainability and nature.
LYNDAL RAM is 4 year trained in Early Childhood Education. She has worked in a variety of settings and is the Assistant Educator for the Thursday/Friday Group. Lyndal is committed to providing creative play spaces which encourage children to express their individuality and uniqueness. Lyndal is currently on leave but is providing relief cover where needed.
ROBYN BOWMAN is the assistant educator in the 3-day Group and she has completed her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care. Robyn thoroughly enjoys cooking and doing creative activities with the children.
LUISA BABBOLIN holds a Diploma in Children’s Services. Luisa is our Mini Kindy Educator and also works across the Kindergarten groups as a relief educator. Luisa is passionate about working with children with additional needs.

Administration Staff

GILLIAN MULLIS is our administration assistant who does our bookings, fees and many other administrative jobs. Gilly is available on Mondays and Thursdays for queries. Please contact the Centre if you wish to speak to her.

Music

BECKY LOCHEL is our visiting music specialist. Becky has a Bachelor of Creative Industries degree and a Graduate Diploma in Education. Her teaching approach is highly influenced by the Orff Schulwerk approach of which she has completed levels 1-4 of their teacher training, as well as many workshops. This approach has a focus on play and integrating music, movement, speech and body percussion to scaffold children’s learning. Becky also plays the cello and loves to dance!
